Introduction Castle Pool is a well-used community swimming facility serving residents, schools, and local organisations in Castle Vale, Birmingham. It plays an important role in promoting physical and mental wellbeing by providing affordable access to swimming. This proposal seeks capital investment to modernise key infrastructure, improve the user experience, and ensure long-term sustainability. 2. Summary of Works This proposal focuses on three essential upgrades: Replacement of the air handling unit Installation of modern LED lighting Refurbishment of poolside and changing area showers These improvements are needed to maintain Castle Pool as a safe, welcoming and energy-efficient community resource. 3.
