Description
WC1611249 corresponds to the order for carrying out the works designed under WC1149026 to upgrade the Foul Sewer System of Work Stream A. The work will include the following: - Excavate trench approximately 700 meters in length, 600mm wide and depths varying from 800mm to 4m (Rock content approximately 90%) to accommodate new sewage pipeline installation 315mm diameter. - Supply and installation of 17 No. New pre-cast Manholes with average depth 2.10 meters and 2.0 meters in diameter. - Connect new sewage pipeline to existing system by modifying existing manholes at the beginning and at the end of the pipeline. Project restrictions expected for this project: - The route of the excavations is passing through a special area of conservation with environmental restrictions as to the width of working space allowed for excavations. - There is possibility of revealing archaeological remains during the required excavations and an archaeologist would need to oversee the excavation processes. The Provisional Key Tender dates for the project are as follows: - Expression of interest: 22/10/2025 - Expression of interest return: 10/11/2025 - Invitation to Tender: 13/11/2025 - Tender Return Date: 18/12/2025 - Contract award: 27/3/2026 - Commencement of work: 30/3/2026 - Completion of work: 31/7/2026 The currency of this project is Euro (€).
