The Southwark LAP aims to tackle the key barriers to starting and growing a social-purpose organisation by providing a comprehensive package of enterprise support over the next two years and make strong progress towards the long-term goals namely:
• Build capacity, skills, community, connections and support across our social ecosystem.
• Tackle entrenched social issues in Southwark.
• Widen the diversity of those who own, start up, and are employed by social enterprises and charities in Southwark.
The Southwark LAP is targeted at Global Majority-led and/or women-led organisations and individuals, those historically most marginalised and underserved in the borough. These contracts relates to providing enterprise support for later-stage enterprises focussed on growth, which will help social enterprises to grow and thrive.
The pre-tender estimates for each of the lots is:
Pack 3 - £359,100 and £384,120 (including VAT)
Pack 4 - £337,500 and £355,000 (including VAT)

Construction Plan 1. Scope of Works. The works will include: • Site preparation and demolition of existing fence. • Earthworks, grading and sub-base preparation. • Installation of drainage systems. • Construction of reinforced concrete skatepark elements (bowls, ramps, platforms, coping). • Installation of street-style features (rails, ledges, stairs). • Perimeter works including pathways and landscaping. • Site clean-up, quality checks, and handover. 2. Cut ends to be treated with corrosion resistant paint system • Formwork, steel reinforcement and shotcrete application for bowls and ramps. • Machine finishing followed by hand-trowelling for smooth riding surfaces. • Expansion joints, coping stones and steel edges installed. 2.5 Ancillary Works • Install prefabricated hot dipped galvanised rails, ledges and modular features. • Construct pathways, seating areas and viewing zones. • Landscape the surrounding area. 3. Health, Safety & Environmental Management • Works to be carried out in accordance with [local construction safety legislation]. • Dust suppression and noise control measures. • Daily toolbox talks and risk assessments. • Waste management and recycling plan. • Public safety maintained through secure site fencing and restricted access. • Working hours 0800 to 1700. • All operatives working on site should have relevant CSCS cards.
