Description

The University of Cumbria are seeking one payment system to be in place for 1st April 2026 to manage Student and Commercial Customer payments. The system needs to be able to take international payments in GBP and allow for instalment plans to be available to students and customers but managed by the University.

Provision of a Group Wide Banking Solution

Starting on the 23rd of September at 12:00Noon Abri will launch a tender to locate a supplier to cover the following requirements: Post combination with Silva, there are 12 main entities within the Abri group. Using around 159 bank accounts which it currently operates. Most are wholly owned, however some are Joint Ventures. 139 accounts are sinking funds which are used for major estate or building repairs. These accounts are funded by leaseholders and from accounts within the group which collect rent. Abri use Open Accounts accounting system and EBIS, Open Housing and Selfserve for invoice approvals, which then feeds into Open accounts in order to create payment runs for invoices due and approved. Payment and collection types including transaction volumes are included in Appendix A. The group is not directly exposed to exchange rate movements in any currency The Group has separate receivable and payables accounts. There are same entity sweeps daily to zero balance the receivable accounts and payable accounts with funds sweeping to the main accounts for Abri and Swaythling, however there is no cash pooling or sweeping between entity accounts currently Currently Abri use the bank online portal’s to obtain bank statements for most of the accounts with some being sent via email where an entity is not a party to the online banking platform.

OPDC Accountancy Support- Subsidiaries Financial Services

As part of its land assembly programme, OPDC has acquired land interests either by directly purchasing within the Old Oak and Park Royal area, or by purchasing a number of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) which in turn hold the land interest. To date, OPDC has purchased the following SPVs, all of which are 100% owned by OPDC: OPDC requires good financial management of each SPV in order to meet statutory requirements for preparing accounts and paying relevant taxes. This directors of the SPVs, who are OPDC Executive Directors, also have certain responsibilities for which they are personally liable. In addition, the financial results from each SPV are incorporated into OPDC's and the GLA's financial reporting and accounts. Therefore good financial management and control of these subsidiaries is essential for OPDC.

Energy Efficiency Dynamic Purchasing System (EEDPS)

Energy Efficiency Dynamic Purchasing System (EEDPS) Plymouth City Council (PCC), as the lead Contracting Authority, in collaboration with Independence Brokerage Services CIC (trading as Independence CIC (INCIC)), is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for use by public sector bodies.
