Description

Procurement of labour and plant resources to support the existing in-house highway delivery service. The in-house highway service delivers the councils revenue works consisting of reactive highway maintenance, drainage maintenance, out of hours call-out and winter service. The proposed framework is to allow additional resources to be brought in to assist in the delivery of there works at times of increased demand/workload. The proposal will provide additional resilience to the highway service

To install 3 large drainage soakaways in grass verges surrounding the car park. Site welfare, herras fencing etc. Clear vegetation from works areas and dispose to licenced facility. Locate utilities within the works area and divert if necessary (local electric cable likely). Take up existing kerbs as required, and set aside for re-use. Supply new HB2 kerbs, and lay including haunching. Supply new BN kerbs (25mm upstand), and lay including haunching.
