Description

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking to procure housing related support services, to provide holistic homelessness prevention and support for households who are either at risk of becoming homeless or who are currently experiencing rough sleeping. This follows a full review of homelessness and rough sleeping carried out during 2024/2025, the findings of which fed into the production of a new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy for 2025-2030.
The Strategy supports the themes of the Council's Corporate Strategy 2024-2025, in helping to deliver a Healthier, Safer and Fairer city which includes; a focus on the prevention of homelessness and supporting people who are experiencing rough sleeping into accommodation that meets their needs, helping people to live independently at home supporting families at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Due to practicalities on site, the Council will need to limit numbers to two (2) per Provider in the first instance. However, if there is spare capacity nearer the time of the visit we will do our best to accommodate additional numbers. Please advise when confirming your attendance if you want to be considered for additional places and these will be granted on a first come first served basis. The Council will procure this contract using the Open Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023 Full details of the requirement and context of the procurement can be found in the Service Specification of the Contract Document. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express an interest’ and also ‘opt in’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system.
