To undertake a Sustainability Appraisal (SA) (incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment and a Health Impact Assessment) of the emerging Somerset Local Plan 2025 - 2045 and provide associated SA Reports to accompany the stages of plan production, consultation, publication, submission and adoption as necessary. Somerset Council has already produced a SA Scoping Report (Stage A), this tender refers to refining alternatives and assessing the effects of the emerging Local Plan (Stage B), the production of the SA (Stage C) and amend the SA following consultation (Stage D).

ESC Design Code

This tender stage is linked to the previously advertised 2696-TEN-O Expressions of Interest - East Suffolk Council Design Code - Stage 1 Foundations and Insight East Suffolk is creating a district wide design code. The code will be adopted as a supplementary plan and will align with our ongoing Local Plan review. Stage 1 is about establishing the foundations, understanding our places, our existing guidance, our existing systems and expectations, and the lived experience of communities.
