Description
The Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (OSCP) aims to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in Oxfordshire. The OSCP is committed to regularly consulting with children and young people on priorities, service developments, and key issues. This includes ensuring inclusive participation across diverse backgrounds and needs, with no group excluded or discriminated against. The OSCP will contract a 12-month Children and Young People Participation Project Officer to support the strategy, leading and developing participation projects with children, young people, and families. The primary purpose of the Children and Young People Participation Project Officer role is to ensure the active involvement of children, young people, and their families in the safeguarding process, thereby improving outcomes and experiences for those involved. This role will provide a platform for children's and young people's voices to be heard within the OSCP. The contract period will be for 12 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
