Toucan West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative is supporting Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust with seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Tier 4 Inpatient Services at Parkview Clinic in Moseley, Birmingham, that are currently provided by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.<br/><br/>Please note all three service lines MUST be delivered from Parkview Clinic.<br/><br/>As a result of this Competitive Process, a Contract will be awarded to the successful Provider for a period of 3 years with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 3 years. The successful Provider is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 1st April 2026.

PROVISION OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TESTING

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint an organisation for the provision of Drugs and Alcohol Testing. The service will be required to provide drug and alcohol testing as directed by managers, heads of service and the senior leadership team within BCC. All sample collection and subsequent testing must comply with relevant legislation and follow strict procedures to maintain chain of custody. Any laboratory used in the testing of samples must be a UKAS accredited laboratory to ISO 17025 standards. The Provider will be required to provide information, instruction and training to BCC employees, to contribute to the development of BCC testing policy and to ensure that testing is undertaken in line with associated standards and legislation. The contract for the services will commence from December 2025 and will be in place for a period of 4 years with a review clause after 12-months. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The Radiology Service at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHFT) provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. A core element of this service is the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic reports for acute and elective patients, which is essential to enable precise diagnosis and effective treatment planning across a wide spectrum of medical conditions.<br/><br/>Since May 2015, GHFT has utilised external reporting provision to supplement in-house capacity and ensure reporting times are maintained within nationally recognised standards. This outsourcing support has been critical in reducing delays in patient care, improving efficiency within elective reporting, and supporting the Authority in managing sustained increases in demand in a safe and sustainable way.<br/><br/>The following services, modalities, and sub-specialty reporting areas are included within the scope of this contract:<br/>• Modalities. The current range of image reporting required under this specification includes, but is not limited to:<br/> - Plain Radiography (Computed Radiography (CR)/ Digital Radiography (DR))<br/> - Computed Tomography (CT)<br/> - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)<br/>• Sub-specialty Reporting. Include, but are not limited to:<br/> - Neuroradiology<br/> - Paediatric Radiology (including Paediatric Neuroradiology)<br/> - Oncology/Cancer reporting, including RECIST (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumours) assessments (e.g. lung, breast, prostate, brain)<br/> - Musculoskeletal Imaging<br/> - Cardiac Imaging<br/> - CT Colonography (CTC)<br/> - Vascular Imaging<br/>• Service Development. Suppliers MUST provide reporting services in line with evolving clinical requirements.
