South Norfolk Council and Broadland District Council are offering this opportunity to participate in a competitive procedure with negotiation for a cloud-based customer experience platform. Both councils’ delivery plans outline a strategic objective to provide services for residents, businesses and communities that are innovative, efficient and easy to use against a backdrop of reduced funding and tougher economical times. An improved customer offer enabled by digital technology can have a direct impact on our ability to reduce operating costs to serve our customers, absorb growing demand within existing resources and enable greater efficiencies from understanding the end-to-end customer journey whilst enabling customers to interact with us in modern and efficient ways that are convenient to them. East Suffolk Council's Procurement Team is providing procurement support but the Contracting Authority is South Norfolk Council.

Stronger Shores Toolkit

Stronger Shores is a project part of the Environment Agency's flood and coastal resilience innovation programme (FCRIP), and aims to Monitor and better understand the composition of existing coastal habitats (specifically seagrass meadows, kelp beds and native oyster reefs) along the Northeast coast Improve understanding about the ways in which these coastal habitats can be restored Identify and quantify ecosystem services these habitats provide.  This contract is for the creation and management of the Stronger Shores toolkit and associated works as detailed in the brief document, in addition to the creation and collation of content from Stronger Shores outputs. London Museum: Smart Building Platform

London Museum is looking to procure and deploy a state-of-the-art cloud-based smart building platform leveraging the best of data analytics & artificial intelligence to translate buildings data available at Smithfield and across our other sites, into smarter insights and better decisions, assisting with building energy optimisation and act as a primary tool to achieving the museum’s Net Zero goals and key business objectives. The Smithfield Market site has been designed and constructed as a Smart Building. Smart enablement has taken place at site, providing the foundational architecture and standards for the Smart Building Platform and other future applications. Standards implemented include Building Device Naming Standard (BDNS), and the use of the Universal Device Management Interface (UDMI) standard for device telemetry. The full scope can be found in the procurement documents. Some pre-market engagement was undertaken by nominated consultants on the Museum’s behalf to outline to the Museum what services are currently available in the market along with relevant details. This has helped to determine relevant statements of requirements and therefore any results are present and available in the Procurement Documents.
