Coordinator Service for the Hate Crime Stakeholder Reference Group

The London Hate Crime Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) is the primary forum that enables the voice of communities targeted by hate crime to be heard by those criminal justice agencies responsible for providing the right response. The SRG hosts meetings four times a year comprising community and statutory partners where specific themes are discussed. MOPAC would like to commission a Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) / Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation to coordinate the SRG. This will include facilitating the meetings of the full SRG, the meetings of its Steering Group, liaising with the SRG co-chairs and inducting new members. The SRG Coordinator must also have the knowledge and skills to provide advice and guidance to the SRG on hate crime and equality, diversity and inclusion issues, to ensure the group can provide a credible and robust voice for the hate crime sector. The contract will start in January 2026 for an initial term of two years (annual value of £30,000, totalling £60,000 over the initial period). There will be one option to extend for a further two years ( £60,000 if extension is exercised). An additional £30,000 has been provisionally allocated to allow for potential future variations to the contract, such as changes in scope or service requirements and pricing flexibility, subject to appropriate governance. The maximum potential contract value is therefore £150,000.
