Warwickshire Children and Young People's Early Intervention Mental Health Service (getting advice and help)

Warwickshire County Council (the Council) is looking for a lead, or sole provider with expertise in delivering services that support children and young people and their families and carers with their emotional wellbeing and mental health. This service is partly funded by Coventry and Warwickshire ICB. The Council will award one contract for the delivery of this service. The Council would like the lead, or sole provider to be collaborative in their approach and willing to either subcontract or work in partnership with local organisations and other services across the wider mental wellbeing system to develop the service in a Thrive way of thinking. The service is required to support children and young people from ages 0-18 years old or those up to 25 with SEND (who have an Education, Health Care Plan - EHCP) with their mental health and wellbeing. The service will offer advice, guidance, consultation and training in mental health issues to families, carers and professionals working with children and young people. It will undertake work to help prevent mental health issues escalating or occurring in the first place. The service will also provide a range of low to moderate level interventions to support children and young people with their mental health incorporating: • A universal offer for children and young people up to the age of 18. (25 with SEND and who have an EHCP) • Children and young people in Warwickshire only • The 'getting advice and getting help' part of the Thrive model • Being primarily focused on early intervention and prevention • Support for professionals and parents/carers to support children and young people. • advice guidance and signposting • Support for children requiring mild to moderate levels of intervention • Being delivered across the whole of Warwickshire and provide community drop ins. The service will be delivered in the community in accessible settings to children and their families. It will be delivered at different times of the day, evenings and weekends to suit children and their families. The service should deliver in at least the following five areas: • Stratford Upon Avon • Rugby • Nuneaton and Bedworth • North Warwickshire • Warwick
