Description

Following a successful Expression of Interest, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery has been invited to submit a full application to the Museum Estate and Development Fund Round 5.We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary design team to support us with the next stage. The appointed team will prepare detailed technical information and designs that meet the standards and expectations set by Arts Council England as outlined in Museum Estate and Development Fund Round 5 Guidance and set out in this brief.

The Royal Armouries Museum wishes to establish an Agreement for the provision of Lead Design Consultant (LDC) services for RIBA Stages 2-7 with a twelve-month Defects Period, for the Armed with Hope & Understanding project. The Lead Design Consultant will procure a dynamic and multidisciplinary Exhibition Design Team to carry out the Services and all duties and responsibilities required to fully execute the Scope of Services outlined herein. Collections Management System Replacement

The Horniman Museum and Gardens (HMG) is seeking to replace its end-of-life collections management system with a new, digital-first solution that will enhance efficiency, transparency, and best practice across its diverse collections and related activities. This project will span three to four years, focusing initially on data migration, followed by phased development and alignment of functions and procedures. The Horniman Museum and Gardens' current collections management system is used to catalogue and manage diverse collections including Natural History, Anthropology, Musical Instruments, Living collections (an aquarium, a butterfly house, a small zoo, the gardens), a Handling Collection, an Archive, and items of value and interest that are not part of any formal collection. The system supports the 21 Spectrum procedures, but only partially. A core objective of this project is to develop new digital first procedures, aligned with and supported by the new system, promoting efficiency, transparency and museum best practice.
