The contract covers for the provision of asbestos surveying services including the analysis of samples taken. A Survey Report identified the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) within the basement tunnels of the Downshire Civic Centre. While the affected area is not accessible to general staff, the ACMs identified still present a health risk to authorised personnel who may need to enter the tunnel.
