Background
	DfT's Road Investment Strategy (RIS) 3: 2025-30.
	£347 million over Roads Period 2 (2020-25) for the development of studies and possible future schemes, including those in the RIS3 pipeline.
	National Highway's goal: look to the future to find more ways to deliver safer, smoother and more reliable journeys for our customers.
	32 potential schemes for the RIS3 pipeline, named in our Delivery Plan - identified with DfT through:
-	strategic studies
-	route strategies
-	stakeholder engagement
	Pipeline mission: to provide a range of options for potential future schemes to enable ministerial decision-making for RIS3.
