Description

Swindon Borough Council is establishing a framework for the provision of ad-hoc repair works to service its 10,500 tenanted properties. The framework will consist of 11 lots across a number of different works categories with the maximum value of any single call-off not exceeding £25,000 (exclusive of VAT).
The maximum framework term will be 48 months. The estimated total value of each lot and the maximum number of suitably qualified suppliers appointed to each lot is as follows:
 Lot 1 – Electrical: £2,929,628: 3 suppliers
 Lot 2 – Gas: £2,285,600: 3 suppliers
 Lot 3 – Environmental: £779,684: 3 suppliers
 Lot 4 - Windows & Doors: £2,310,776: 3 suppliers
 Lot 5 – Roofing: £1,468,192: 3 suppliers
 Lot 6 – Flooring: £938,064: 3 suppliers
 Lot 7 – Drainage: £1,600,000: 3 suppliers
 Lot 8 – Scaffolding: £2,130,000: 3 suppliers
 Lot 9 – General Repairs: £8,000,000: 5 suppliers
 Lot 10 – Fencing: £1,354,932: 3 suppliers
 Lot 11 – Wet Trades: £2,000,000: 5 suppliers

Plot 2A Stretford Mall Residential Development

Trafford Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to carry out works including the design, construction, completion and defects rectification of a new-build Build to Rent block (Plot 2a) comprising 249 residential units, together with approximately 200m² of ground floor commercial space, associated amenity areas and public realm, forming part of a multi-phase masterplan at Stretford Mall. The above represents Plot 2A but the Council are looking for a contractor to complete plot 2B and Plot 1 in addition to Plot 2A. The award of future phases will be determined by the Council at a later stage in the programme. The breakdown is as follows: Plot 2A £60m (exc VAT) Plot 2B £45m (exc VAT) Plot 1 £70m (exc VAT) The Council in conjunction with its advisers has a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and the market. Therefore, pre-market engagement will not be undertaken for this procurement. A planned procurement notice has not been completed as the contracting authority does not wish to reduce the timescales of this tender.
