Additional information: 
The Authority entered into a five month contract with Citysprint (UK) Limited commencing 30/04/2025 for Courier services following a Direct Award via CCS Framework RM6171, Lot 4. The contract provided for a six month extension which was exercised extending the term to 31/03/2025 with the application of Regulations 72(1)(a).

The Pathology Department at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd requires a reliable and efficient transport service for the routine collection and delivery of pathology samples, pathology reports, hospital mail, and, when necessary, pharmacy products. This service is essential to support timely diagnostics, patient care, and internal communications across the Health Board. A full list of sites to be serviced is provided within the ITT & specification. The required service will operate on a scheduled basis from Monday to Friday, including Saturdays and Statutory Holidays as necessary. The successful contractor will be expected to adhere to strict collection and delivery timelines to ensure continuity of clinical and operational services. The initial contract will be awarded for a period of 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months at the sole discretion of the Health Board, subject to satisfactory performance and continued service need.
