Description

2gether Support Solutions Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary company of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, is issuing an Invitation To Tender ("ITT") in connection with Works to Linen store and bed store at William Harvey Hospital. The Form of Contract will be the JCT Minor Works Building Contract without design (2016)<br/><br/>The works shall be carried out in 2 phases. Phase 1 is for the conversion of the excising linen store into 3 offices. Phase 2 is for the refurbishment of a bed store into a welfare facility. The indicative start date for the works is 24th October 2025 and we would  expect the works to be completed within 6 - 8 weeks.

Meldreth Recreation Ground Development

This is a project on Meldreth recreation ground to enhance the facilities in the recreation ground particularly for children of senior school age. Key works are:- • Remove existing zip wire • Install new zip wire of at least the same length as existing wire. Aerial Runway - 25m with starting platform, runout section, stainless steel trolley and connecting brackets. Either in timber or metal, if in timbers, all timbers on steel post feet to give protection around the base against strimming. Steel Goal End - 3m high x 9m wide utilising steel mesh rebound fencing panels o To install Muga surfacing to include o Excavate to reduce levels; average 220 mm deep o Level and compact bottoms of excavations o Cut-fill and dispose of remainder of excavated material off site via grab wagons o Install membrane o Blind area with compacted sand layer o 150 x 50 mm edgings to perimeter approx. o Supply and fit inlaid grass sports lines, colour combinations for basketball and football o Supply and spread sports sand infill at a rate of 6kg/m2 Other key requirements:- • Preparation of a project risk assessments and method statements covering planned construction. • Environmental removal of general waste from site. All waste to be transferred to a registered recycling centre for further processing. • The site is adjacent to a children's play area, which will need to be operational through out the project, However safety fencing to secure site will need to be erected and dismantled. • Time line is ideally for installation to take place during school term time.
