Description

This Further Competition (FC) is being issued by Kingsmeadow Community School to procure IT Managed Service for 24 months plus 2 x optional 12-month extensions via the Ethical & Sustainable Supply DPS.

Kingsmeadow Community School is a Secondary (11-18) provision based in Dunston, Gateshead. They currently have 970 pupils on the school roll.

The list below details the requirements based on elements of the current service that would need to continue:

- Server and Infrastructure Support

- IT Service Desk with 24/7 system monitoring

- Customer Portal

- Live Service Reports

- Dedicated Service Management

- Backup & Anti-Virus Management

- Microsoft Updates

- Cloud Infrastructure Support

- On-premise Infrastructure Support

- On Site Support

- Access to Emergency Loan Equipment

- Liaising with 3rd Parties

In addition to the above, the Customer requires a new security solution as the current antivirus system is no longer fit for purpose. The Trust current have Sophos Central Intercept X installed on all computers on site. The Supplier is requested to price for Crowdstrike (to enable like for like comparison) then within the optional extras, outline pricing for any suitable alternatives that may be considered through contract mobilisation.

The Customer requires a solution capable of backing up their Virtual Machines (VMs) to their local NAS located in a different building, as well as online or cloud storage. For the purposes of pricing this tender, it should be assumed that 4.5TB of space is required. The pricing structure for additional storage beyond that should be included in the tender response.

Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine Phase 2 (PFRU-2) is a multi-year, multi-donor-funded programme managed by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
