DN Colleges Group (DNCG) has successfully secured targeted capital investment to deliver a strategic initiative focused on enhancing skills, innovation, and infrastructure across the food and agri-tech sectors. This investment forms part of a broader partnership between DNCG, the UK Food Valley initiative, and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
The UK Food Valley aims to position Greater Lincolnshire as a global leader in sustainable food production, agricultural innovation, and integrated supply chains. The region is already home to a nationally significant food manufacturing base, and this programme builds on those existing strengths to unlock further growth, inward investment, and workforce development.

Wrexham Smart Towns Expansion – LoRaWAN/ IOT Sensors and Associated Hardware Framework

Wrexham County Borough Council wish to establish a Framework for LoRaWAN IOT sensors and other associated hardware for the expansion of the Wrexham Smart Towns initiative. The SMART Towns initiative was launched in 2022 and has proven highly successful. It is hosted within the Regeneration team at Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC), links to the Council plan and is backed by the Welsh Government. WCBC is now seen as one of the leading authorities in the UK on implementing IOT (Internet of Things) sensors to obtain data to help the Council make better informed decisions. These sensors obtain data sets such as footfall, dwell time, air quality and traffic data etc. Progress has seen some key benefits to the local authority, including the ability to make efficiencies. The use of moisture sensors within the city centre has provided data that ensures the local authority embeds a smarter way of working, as it only has to water necessary plant beds. The authority is now looking to expand on the success of the pilots and explore more possible projects, such as flood monitoring (flood risk team), air quality (open spaces team), road temperature sensors to identify savings on gritting, sensors to highlight potential savings on energy, and the technology is to be introduced to parts of Social Care to ensure SMART is a way of life to ensure the safety of our residents Please see the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document, pricing list, appendices and other supporting documents for full details of the proposed work. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a Pan Government Dynamic Market for the provision of Space Technology Solutions to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies (the full list is included below the ' Awarding Contracts' section of this notice). The RM6370 Space Technology Solutions Dynamic Market provides civil and defence related space and geospatial requirements, including related technology, operations, data and advisory solutions (Space Technology Solutions). The Dynamic Market provides a broad scope of goods, works and/or services related to the following deliverables: satellite communications; unmanned autonomous vehicles (UxVs); geospatial and remote sensing; upstream launch services; design and manufacture; space domain awareness; space command and control; rapid deployment capability; research and development; position, navigation and timing; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; sustainability; security, risk and insurance consulting. The range of goods, works and/or services is broad and intended to capture commercially viable products and services which may be ‘off the shelf’ or bespoke to the buyer requirement. The Dynamic Market is divided into categories, called ‘Parts’. Each Part provides specific goods, works and/or services, as detailed in the Part descriptions. The initial duration of the Dynamic Market will be six years with an optional extension of two years. An application to be appointed to the Dynamic Market, in response to this Dynamic Market Notice, can be made at any time before the End Date of the Dynamic Market. An application can be made as a single legal entity or as a special purpose vehicle (SPV). Heathrow Airport - Construction Testing (UKAS accredited)

Ferrovial have through their civils works at Heathrow Airport ongoing requirements for civils testing - e.g. concrete cube tests, slump tests etc. We are inviting appropriately accredited entities to engage with us in the supply of such services. This can be managed from a nearby testing facility run by the bidder, or perhaps the Parties could explore the opportunity to open a new facility at or nearby Heathrow Airport.
