Description

The Client is seeking to appoint a single Principal Contractor to deliver the full scope of services: 1) Statutory compliance maintenance and PPM across in-scope mechanical, electrical and specialist systems and services 2)Reactive maintenance in line with the response model in Response Times. 3)Technical support and management of specialist subcontractors engaged under this Contract. 4) 24/7 operations support for emergencies. 5) professional services as required to support the Client’s compliance and project delivery, including but not limited to: Statutory inspection reports, testing certificates and compliance advice. Technical support in scoping and specifying remedial works. Design and commissioning input for plant/equipment replacement. CDM 2015 Principal Contractor role where applicable; and Attendance at project meetings, site inspections, and stakeholder briefings. While elements of the service may be subcontracted, the Successful Bidder will remain the sole point of contact for the Client and will retain full responsibility for the coordination, management, and successful delivery of all aspects of the contract.

Automated Distribution & Manufacturing Centre (ADMC) Operator

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking tenders, on behalf of Ashfield District Council (the Council) (ADC) , Ashfield District Council (ADC) has secured £21.5m from the Towns Fund programme to build the Automated Distribution & Manufacturing Centre (ADMC) on a green field site in Kirkby in Ashfield, near M1 junction 28 and opposite Sutton Parkway station. The ADMC will be the centrepiece of a dedicated Innovation and Technology Park. The 3,000 square metre building will become a centre of excellence for automation. It will support both the specialist manufacturing and distribution/fulfilment sectors, including small and medium sized enterprises. The building is estimated to be completed in March 2027. The primary research and development area is a single storey building, with loading docks and facilities suitable for locating and operating automation systems in a flexible manner. The remainder of the building houses a two-storey laboratory, training/conference area and an office complex along with an atrium for holding showcasing and other events. On the ground floor there is a designated lab and office for Nottingham Trent University which is a key partner in the project. The ADMC's vision is to be an independent centre where businesses can receive automation related support and advice to help them grow their businesses. The ADMC's mission is to work with businesses to create and implement bespoke automation strategies and solutions that improve productivity and enable prosperity and growth.
