Description

Middlesbrough Council is seeking quotations to appoint a suitable consultant to create a 3D interactive 'walk through' of Steve Waller's Middlehaven model to allow users to experience an immersive virtual visit through the neighbourhood as was.
The consultant will be required to bring to life the Middlehaven model utilising a range of digital visual and audio techniques to support the reimagining of the Old Town Hall (OTH) in Middlehaven.
The Grade II asset is to be transformed into a high-quality office venue for the expanding Digital and Creative sector in Middlesbrough and the model will be used as a key engagement tool for the wider public.
This invitation is to submit an inclusive fee to reflect the work required for delivering a high quality, immersive 'walk through' of the neighbourhood as was. The 3D digitalisation will create accessibility to the model and bring to life a period of the town's social and cultural history allowing users to take a digitally immersive walk back in time.

There is a recognition that current working methods are not always as efficient and effective as they could be. A group of funded organisations have put themselves forward to review their operating procedures and methods with the clear intent of becoming exemplars of best practice within the sector. Each organisation has different starting places and are different sizes and scales with varied structures and resource levels. The organisations selected to participate, have been due to their varied size and nature. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to, considering improvements within the following areas: • Governance and Board Effectiveness • Behaviours, culture and environment: how these effect the organisations’ ability to improve efficiency and resilience • Collaboration and innovation opportunities across the sector and beyond • Policies and processes • Strategic and operational planning and delivery – clear long-term goals, structures, allocation of resources etc • Risk Management • Technology and AI: High costs and low adaptability from outdated tech. • Ways of working – remote v operational, more efficient ways of working and use of staff resources. • Communication Issues: Misunderstandings and delays due to inefficient/outdated communication methods and channels.
