Description

To Direct award a contract for an on-premise backup solution from CCS Framework -
RM6098 - TePAS 2 to Softcat PLC for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 
year.
2. The estimated value of the contract is approximately £21,000 per annum. The total 
value of the contract will be £64,000 and if the option to extend for 12 months is taken 
then the total value of the contract over 4 years will be £84,000.

The Dynamic Purchasing System is being established by Jisc to provide Digital Preservation System solutions to institutions. Institutions generate, consume and keep enormous amounts of Digital Information (“Data”). In order to ensure the long-term sustainability and access to such Data, institutions make use of Digital Preservation (DP) systems to keep the Data both safe (bit preservation) and usable.
