Wyre Forest District Council wishes to appoint Providers for the inclusion on the Wyre Forest District Council temporary accommodation Preferred Supplier List (PSL).  

Wyre Forest District Council  has a legal duty under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) to provide temporary accommodation for single people or homeless households whilst an application for housing is being assessed.  Temporary being a none defined length of time during which a person and or household can be placed in the accommodation. 

The Council has a purpose-built accommodation unit which is to be utilised in the first instance to accommodate homeless households and individuals. As such this contract is required by the Council for temporary accommodation on and as and when required (adhoc) basis. 
 
Temporary accommodation is required in the across the Wyre Forest geographical area.

Temporary Accommodation Framework

The Guinness Partnership Limited, in collaboration with the managing agent ProcurePublic Limited, is inviting suppliers to apply and join a new Temporary Accommodation Framework. This framework is designed to meet the essential needs of public sector contracting authorities for temporary housing and decant services. Selected suppliers will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of accommodation and decant solutions, including: A 24/7, year-round service for vetting, sourcing, and booking accommodation. Procurement of all necessary ancillary provisions, whether through hire or purchase. Tenderers must demonstrate proven experience in supplying temporary accommodation to housing associations, local authorities, and comparable public sector organisations, along with the capacity to respond rapidly to emergency housing requirements. Under this framework, suppliers may be called upon to provide a variety of temporary accommodation options and support services, such as: Self-contained units (apartments and flats) Serviced accommodation (house shares and guest houses) Emergency bed-and-breakfast arrangements Furniture hire, utilities management, and housekeeping Welfare support, lettings, and tenancy management We welcome all qualified suppliers to submit their proposals in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.

Provision of Temporary Accommodation

Folkestone & Hythe District Council (FHDC) is seeking multiple providers to supply a range of high-quality temporary accommodation units for homeless households across the district and, where appropriate, outside the district. Accommodation types include single, double, twin, and family rooms with a focus on suitability, safety, and proximity to Folkestone. The contract is anticipated to start in October 2025 and continue for a period of 12 months (with the option to extend for up to three additional periods of 12 months each). Please note: The Council intends to award this contract to multiple suppliers using a tiered system based on lowest submitted room rates.
