Temporary Average Speed Cameras at Roadworks (TASCAR)

The A66 North Trans-Pennine enterprise is looking to engage experienced and qualified Temporary Average Speed Cameras at Roadworks (TASCAR) contractor for a major project on the strategic roads network. The A66 upgrade will see single-lane sections of the 80km stretch between the M6 and A1 made into dual carriageway, while key junctions will be improved. Estimated Package spend is £3,000,000. The project is to be delivered in collaboration by three Tier 1 contractors Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Aureous.

We are looking for experienced firms with proven track record in handling large-scale Temporary Average Speed Cameras at Roadworks (TASCAR) packages, equipped with the necessary resource, equipment, machinery and expertise to ensure the job is completed efficiently and on schedule.

We will use the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS) to ensure a consistent minimum business competence. Real Time Passenger Information System Upgrade & Ongoing Support

Plymouth City Council ("The Authority") is seeking suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to tender for the replacement of the city's Real-Time Passenger Information (RTPI) system to include Traffic Light Priority (TLP). This project forms a key part of the Authority's commitment to improving public transport infrastructure and enhancing the passenger experience within the city of Plymouth. A comprehensive reporting package must be provided to monitor and report on system performance, support compliance with targets set out in the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and other Department for Transport (DfT) requirements, and also be adaptable to future changes in reporting needs and performance metrics for the duration of the contract. The solution must be scalable and flexible to accommodate future technological developments, policy changes, and evolving user needs.
