Description

This contract will deliver a planned programme of overnight short breaks for children and young people with disabilities who have an assessed need who are residents in of Shropshire Council. 
The service will be delivered from the council owned purpose-built premises at Bradbury House, Frith Close, Shrewsbury. SY2 5XW 
This is a purpose built 7 bedroomed unit with enclosed outdoor space. 
Overnight short breaks for children and young people with disabilities and their families will be provided through a Hub and Spoke model.  
Bradbury House being the hub of the model with all other overnight short break options – for example, but not limited to, Family Based (foster) care, Home Based (domiciliary) Care, In-Home overnight sitting service, and Activity based short breaks. The additionality of specialist overnight short break elements (the spokes) will be commissioned using a variety of commissioning approaches. 
The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years commencing on the 1st April 2026 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 (1+1) years. 
The Contract Value is a maximum of £1,185,000 per annum.

Medication Administration Service

Milton Keynes City Council ('the Council') is currently out to tender for the provision of a Medication Administration Service. Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Milton Keynes City Council are working together to commission Medication Administration services for residents in Milton Keynes, where requiring support to safely administer their medication is an identified need.
