Description

We are seeking an experienced Independent Facilitator(s) to support the development of a significant nature and heritage rich and accessible green corridor in the north-east urban fringe of Durham City. 
The Independent Facilitator(s) will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this initiative by guiding a group of stakeholders  and the Durham City Green Corridor Board.
This role is part of a collaborative project between Durham County Council and the National Trust, aimed at connecting urban communities with the countryside along the River Wear. 

We want to commission an Independent Facilitator(s) to support the development of the green corridor and ensure the project's governance structure  is appropriate  for working together towards our shared objectives. 

We are open to approaches from individuals, charities and consultancy firms, organisations of all sizes. We want an Independent Facilitator(s) to ensure there is balance of opinion and that no one stakeholder or board member is leading the process, and we can all equitably participate. 

The first element of the Independent Facilitator(s) work is to support the changemaker groups and the project board to develop how they work together , their terms of reference and decision making and any other supporting documents .  
The second element of the Independent Facilitator(s) role is to support the stakeholders and project board to develop action plans to meet their outcomes.

Skills and Experience
•	Excellent communication skills: Ability to keep all stakeholders informed and connected, fostering productive communication among group members with varying experience levels and communication styles.
•	Facilitation experience: Proven track record in leading similar groups, with an understanding of the challenges within cultural, heritage and environmental sectors.
•	Holistic mindset: Curiosity and open-mindedness to enable balanced contributions from all participants.
•	Tact and diplomacy: Ability to hold space for equitable contributions, ensuring all voices are heard.
•	Calmness  under pressure: Maintaining composure and effectiveness in a wide range of  situations.
•	Experience with diverse stakeholder groups: Particularly within the third sector, to foster collaboration and understand the dynamics of competing priorities.
•	Organisational and coordination abilities: Strong skills in organising and coordinating efforts to ensure efficient progress.
•	Whole-system approach: Ability to link health and wellbeing initiatives to other systems.
•	Trustworthiness and discretion: Essential qualities for building rapport quickly and helping form a cohesive group identity.
•	Cultural competence: Deep understanding of cultural backgrounds and different governance structures/processes.
•	Partnership project management: Expertise in managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders.

Podiatry: Addressing Critical Workforce Challenges to Safeguard Patient Care

NHS England is seeking provider for the following: To develop a self-assessment template to support podiatric leaders to assess, optimise and sustain their workforce, training, and education needs to maximise current and future service delivery. Podiatry services to adopt the high impact actions which could include best practice. The development of themed workshops / webinars and curation of existing resources which would support the self-assessment template. Regular progress reports and impact evaluations to track outcomes and effectiveness. Contract length is 7 months. The maximum financial envelope for this tender is £99,950 ex VAT for 7 months. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 15th August at 12:00pm (midday).
