Description

This notice includes details of the value of the DPS from the initial commencement which is from 28th March 2023 for an initial 4 years, with the possibility of an optional 3-year extension. The initial term will end on the 27th of March 2027.
The Council requires transportation providers to provide Home to School Transport and Transport for Adult Clients both older people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The purpose of this procurement is to establish a DPS for the provision of Transportation Services for Adults, Children, Looked after children and Young People with Special Educational Needs (SEND). The term of the contract is for 4 years with the possibility of an optional 3-year extension. The intention is that the DPS is an entirely electronic process and routes will be awarded to providers on the DPS using a Reverse E-Auction. The Council makes no guarantee of business/business volumes. 
The Council is seeking a diverse range of Adults, Children, Looked After Children and Young People's Transportation including cars, MPV's, minibuses, small and large accessible vehicles, larger buses and coaches of all sizes capable of transporting wheelchair users. There is no limit on the number of Service Providers who can be admitted and additional Service Providers can join the DPS during the term of the DPS, subject to their applications meeting the Qualification requirements.
Joining the DPS:
Transportation Providers wishing to join the DPS are required to review and agree the tender documentation and complete the online ITT via the Proactis Portal. A pass or fail (set out in the ITT) and the evaluation criteria must be met/passed before the Provider will be admitted to the DPS. The full ITT pack is available on the Proactis Portal. National Galleries Scotland (NGS) “The Authority” wish to award a multi-lot, multi-Contractor Framework for the Provision of Specialist Art Transportation Services. There are 4 Lots under the Framework Agreement covering the provision of business-as-usual UK movements of works/objects through to multi-national transportation of many works/objects to/from multiple venues across the world. It is a requirement that Framework Contractors as a minimum, hold or commit to obtain prior to the award of contract, a valid Cyber Essentials Basic Certification (or equivalent) in place throughout the duration of the Framework Agreement.
