Purchase of Fire Appliances

The Authority is seeking to appoint a Supplier to design and build fire appliances covering three distinct variants: •Variant A Heavy •Variant A Light •Variant B •Variant C Variant A Heavy and Variant A Light will be constructed to an identical base specification but will carry different equipment sets appropriate to their operational role. Full specification for each variant can be found within the tender documents. The contract will be established for 5 years with a possible 2 year extension, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. Over the full contract period, the Authority anticipate purchasing up to 50 appliances. However, an initial commitment will be made for the supply of 35 appliances. The remaining appliances will be subject to future funding approval. The successful supplier will also be required to deliver appropriate user training, warranty coverage and after sales service. Fleet Purchase and Lease DPS

This DPS is being created in accordance with Regulation 34 of the UK statutory instrument Public Contracts Regulations 2015/102. Contracts to be awarded under the established DPS will follow the requirements of Regulation 28 (Restricted Procedure). Therefore, Regulations that apply to the Restricted Procedure, and to procedures generally, apply to the DPS, except where regulation 34 specifically alters or dis-applies them. PA invites organisations to participate in a 60-month DPS for Fleet Lease and Purchase solutions. The DPS will be accessible by all current and future Clients of PA. The DPS may be used by all NHS Trusts, Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Blue Light Services, Education, Charities and all other contracting authorities that are located in the United Kingdom including those listed in Schedule 1 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/102. Procurement Assist is publishing this Notice of Amendment made pursuant to the original Notice 2020/S 194-470491 to extend the DPS to 31 May 2029.
