Local Government Reorganisation Strategic Partner

Description

Kent County Council (KCC) has awarded the contract for Local Government Reorganisation Strategic Partner to KPMG LLP who will work with the Councils across Kent to develop a shared evidence based, options appraisal and a business case comprising of one or more recommendations for Local Government Reorganisation that will form a key part of Kent's submission to Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) by the 28th November 2025. 
KCC has lead on this procurement and has contract on behalf of the  Councils of Kent. The  Councils are as follows:

-	Canterbury City Council
-	Dartford Borough Council
-	Dover District Council
-	Folkestone & Hythe District Council
-	Gravesham Borough Council
-	 Maidstone Borough Council
-	Sevenoaks District Council

-	Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council
-	Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
This contract was awarded by carrying out a mini competition on the Crown Commercial Services framework RM6187 - Management Consultancy Framework Three (MCF3) - LOT 3 (complex and transformation)
