Description

Colchester Borough Homes (the Authority) on behalf of Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to undertake the re-covering of felt flat roof coverings to two storey flat blocks at various locations within the Colchester District.
      
      All documents should be read in conjunction with each other to ensure a clear understanding of the objectives and comply with the requirements of the relevant CBH Materials and Workmanship Specification, all relevant British Standards, manufacturers installation recommendations, specialist specifications and drawings ref: 51794, 51795, 51954 & 51955.
      
      Further details of the requirements can be found in the accompanying documents.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Fife Council are looking to establish a 5 Ranked supplier Framework for Pitched Roof Replacements. The estimated spend is GBP 5 million per year for the replacement programme. This spend includes inhouse and sub-contracted work. The Authority have opted to establish a DPS as it is deemed the most appropriate option to meet its requirements and will enable a clear, consistent and compliant route to market. The DPS will be open to new entrants throughout its lifespan to allow coverage for ever changing requirements, including but not limited to new regulations and central government requirements.
