Description

We are seeking a consultant to develop a costed proposal for reviewing and refreshing the Councils current policy (last updated in 2014), on the use and rollout of 20mph speed limits (to include both limits and zones) in the city. The focus of this review is to ensure that 20mph speed limits are effectively deployed in areas of high pedestrian activity, with a particular emphasis on school locations and community/retail centres where vulnerable road users are at heightened risk. The consultant will also assess the existing implementation of 20mph limits, develop a strategic framework for future rollouts, and make recommendations for improvements to our current approach.
