Description

The scope of the Subsubcontract works is the provision of all necessary People, Equipment, Plant, Materials, methodology, construction detailing, testing, assurance and handover for the Vehicle Restraint Barrer (VRB) along the Station Access Retaining Wall and within the Interfaces Susbstation Compound as described in this document, scope drawings and specifications. This will include all required temporary works, and their design, installation of, ongoing maintenance of and subsequent removal, required for the safe execution of the Subsubcontract works.

The extent of the VRB within this scope of works is limited to the capping beam of the underlying retaining wall indicated in Fencing Drawings as N1 Vehicle Barrier, and the two runs of Vehicle Barrier (contained within DNO Substation Compound Works) to be carried out within the site, as depicted in Appendix 01.
The Retaining Wall from Old Oak Common Lane is formed in the sum of three adjoining retaining structures (SSEN, Crossrail Depot, and Station Access Retaining Wall). Each listed below has specific drawings sets relevant to that length of wall.
      •	Station Access Retaining Wall (SARW)
      •	Cross Rail Depot Retaining Wall (CRL Depot)
      •	SSEN Substation Retaining Wall
