Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) is a statutory waste disposal authority which, with its District Council partners, takes a lead in advocating and delivering recycling, waste prevention, and the safe and effective disposal of household waste for the residents of Merseyside and Halton (together, the 'Liverpool City Region'). The education project will focus on engaging with and educating secondary aged pupils across the Liverpool City Region on zero waste and the circular economy to encourage a positive shift in waste and resource behaviours.
