Description
Transport for London (TfL) is commencing a procurement process to appoint a supplier to deliver the requirements of Design and Build Elizabeth line, Canary Wharf Bostwick Gates Replacement. The works are described in the procurement documents and cover the following main activities: - removal of the three (3) faulty gates for the Northwest, Southeast and Southwest main entrances - develop the design to replace Northwest, Southeast and Southwest main entrances gates with similar, manually operated, traditional Bostwick SR2 style gates. - construction and installation of the new Northwest, Southeast and Southwest main entrances gates. The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) will be used to identify the potential suppliers and produce the supplier's list. In order to do that the following Railway Industry Commodity Classification List (RICCL) codes will be selected: C.C.3.4.7.5: Boundary Gates: Construction, Design, Dispose, Install, Modify, Supply C.D.1.3: Steel Frame: Construction, Design, Install, Modify, Supply Network Rail and London Underground/ Docklands Light Railway infrastructures previous experience required. No further expression of interest will be considered from 4 July 2025. Qualification is exclusively via RISQS under the RICCL codes stated above and the Network Rail and London Underground infrastructure requirements. Only suppliers pre-qualified under RISQS will be invited to tender.
