Temporary Works Design

The A66 North Trans-Pennine enterprise is looking to engage experienced and qualified Temporary Works Design supplier for major project on the strategic roads network. The A66 upgrade will see single-lane sections of the 80km stretch between the M6 and A1 made into dual carriageway, while key junctions will be improved. Estimated Package spend is £680,000. The project is to be delivered in collaboration by three Tier 1 contractors Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Keltbray.

We are looking for experienced firms with proven track record in handling large-scale Temporary Works Design packages, equipped with the necessary resource, equipment, machinery and expertise to ensure the job is completed efficiently and on schedule.

We will use the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS) to ensure a consistent minimum business competence. North East and North Lincolnshire currently operates a 'Framework Agreement' for Street Lighting Term Maintenance Services. The tender is divided into lots Lot 1 - North East Lincolnshire Council Lot 2 - North Lincolnshire Council . One tenderer will be appointed for each lot. However, tenderers can bid for one or both lots.

Terrazzo Flooring Replacement Design Services

This overall scheme will deliver a full replacement at Newcastle, York, Darlington (and subject to funding Doncaster) railway stations swapping the current Terrazzo tiles with suitable alternative, the preferred solution must deliver acceptable PTV values (slip resistance), must be easy to clean and maintain, must be in keeping with the historic nature of the buildings and must not be vulnerable to sweating or other climate related phenomenon. In addition, the scheme will also look at delivering a number of other minor improvements in parallel, such as additional duct routes, supply points and improved wayfinding. These items are not core scope and will be discussed during the next stage prior to completion of final design.
