Description

The Borough Council of Bolton (The Authority) received tenders for TC031 - Home and Community Base Support (Light Touch Framework) that consisted of 2 Procurement Lots.
The Authority has the aspiration that the people of Bolton will be involved in their own health and wellbeing with the aim of staying well for longer and in their own homes as part of a strong, connected and engaged community.
The Authority will work with Providers who share the aspiration set out in our vision, in accordance with our principles, and who will help to jointly achieve our required outcomes. The Services is divided into two Lots:
Lot 1 – shall comprise delivery of the Services to Adults with support needs whose primary needs may include one or more of the following: - a physical disability - organic mental health issues not requiring specific mental health provision, including dementia, anxiety, and depression - sensory impairment, or - acquired brain injury.
Lot 2 – shall comprise delivery of the Services to Adults with support needs whose primary needs may include one or more of the following: - a functional mental illness - learning disabilities - neurodiversity.
The term of the Framework will be for four (4) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional two (2) year.

The Connect to Work programme aims to support 1565 economically inactive residents in West Northamptonshire over the next five years by delivering personalised support, including employability training, confidence building, and workplace adjustment advice, increasing awareness and access to local job opportunities, identifying and addressing barriers to employment for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions, reducing economic inactivity and reliance on other services through sustained employment, promoting diversity and inclusion among local employers and working collaboratively with other South Midlands local authorities. This funding is allocated to the South Midlands Partnership region. WNC is the accountable body for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Northamptonshire, and West Northamptonshire. This tender relates specifically to West Northamptonshire.
