Description
Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to appoint a single Contractor via a JCT Measured Term Contract (MTC) to carry out the servicing and maintenance of renewable energy, heating and hot water systems, including the installation and replacement of equipment as and when necessary. The contract period will be for an initial two years with the option to extend for a further two periods of two years (2+2+2). The scope of work in this contract contains the servicing of air source heat pumps, solar thermal hot water systems, unvented hot water systems, and Electric Hyco Water Heaters, including all associated pipe work, fittings and building works. The successful Contractor will be required to provide a 24-hour emergency call out service, 365 days a year. The Contractor is also required to respond to any call outs in relation to a failure of the heating or hot water systems. This is also to include any associated pipework or fittings. The contracted work will be undertaken at a variety of locations including residential housing/dwellings, “void” dwellings and Sheltered Housing Units.
