Tender for Exhibition and Graphic Design Services

National Museums Liverpool (NML) is seeking to appoint an Exhibition Design agency to provide Exhibition and Graphic Design, Project & Production Management for a small gallery refresh at the World Museum in Liverpool. The duration of the contract is until 23rd March 2026. The 'Dinosaurs and Natural World' gallery located on Level 4 within the World Museum is one of the most loved and visited galleries within the museum. Year upon year the gallery has continued to welcome and delight young visitors, and is loved by many generations of local people who remember visiting it in their childhoods. Now, at over 60 years old and only receiving minor investment in 2004, the gallery falls short of the display and infrastructure standards expected of a National Museum and unfortunately is providing an increasingly disappointing visit to many of our c700,000 visitors annually. The appointed design agency will be required to devise an updated graphic treatment, produce technical design to address H&S issues regarding out of date display approaches, oversee and integrate new AV, interactive and lighting infrastructure and coordinate the offsite and onsite works. The appointed design agency will be expected to coordinate internal stakeholders including, but not limited to Creative Studios, Estates, Health & Safety, Curatorial & Content Teams, Major Projects and Visitor Services.

PAN3287 - LMAG Voices of Leicester Exhibition Design and Fit Out

Leicester City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified Suppliers for the exhibition design and fit out of multiple galleries at LMAG is an integral part of the Voices of Leicester project (funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund). The Voices of Leicester project represents the final stage in the master plan for LMAG, enabling the museum to be transformed into a modern and exciting visitor attraction for the people of Leicester. If we do not procure an exhibition design and fit out contractor, we will not be able to meet the approved purposes of our grant funding from NLHF and will therefore forfeit any funding to the city council. Furthermore, Suppliers will be required to register on the Central Digital Platform (a Find a Tender service).
