A programme which provides support to teachers, youth leaders and other adults supporting children and young people, and to cultural and heritage providers, to ensure children and young  people develop an understanding of their local heritage and its significance. Through CPD training and resources the programme seeks to break down barriers to opportunity for all children and young people and to provide additional support to those in greatest need.

Forest Research is seeking tenders for the carrying out of an Attribute Survey in the West of North England Forest District, in accordance with the attached Invitation to Tender (ITT). Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint an organisation to deliver Mental Health Awareness (MHA) Training aimed at improving knowledge and skills around mental health and wellbeing for leaders in faith settings, community groups and other small organisations. There is a requirement to design and deliver Mental Health Awareness (MHA) Training, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills related to mental health and well-being for leaders in faith settings, community groups, and other small organisations. The training will consist of the equivalent of a half-day package (the method should be codesigned with the community), available either face-to-face or online, within local communities and faith settings. The specifics of the delivery method and any supporting resources will be determined through the bidding process once the project is commissioned. The services will commence on 1st October 2025 and will be in place for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Agency Advice and Support for the Delivery of Brandhall Village

SMBC owns the former Brandhall golf course in the south-west of the borough. In November 2022 the decision was made to release 5.1ha of the site for residential development, whilst the remainder of the site will remain in Council ownership for the development a replacement Causeway Green Primary school (approx. 2.6ha), and the development of a public park. The Council is seeking to appoint a land agent and associated professionals to advise and assist the Council in procuring a developer for the housing site, the negotiation of the disposal agreement, and potential support that may be required as the development progresses.
