Description

The successful Supplier will be required to provide catering services for Star Academies, at the following sites. The opportunity will be broken down into Lots according to Geographic location. Bidders may bid for individual Lots or all Lots.   
Please note that bidders who intend to bid for more than one Lot will be required to submit a separate response for each Lot (links to each Lot are provided within the contract notice)

Current Contract value = £5.6million per annum across all three Lots
The Trusts expects that additional schools may join the contract over the life of the contract. It is not expected that this growth will exceed 40% of the current contract value.
The Trust is looking to award a contract for each Lot or multiple Lots based upon a three-year contract with the option to extend for up to a further four years.

This will allow for a robust level of oversight regarding contract delivery as a whole. b. fully utilise the benefits, from a centralised strategy and approach for both parties, continually improving the quality and uptake of meals, particularly for FSM pupils. c. operate a standard approach across all schools, delivering an exemplary quality of service whilst harnessing a continuous drive for improvement throughout the contract term. d. ensure a high-quality food offering, whilst delivering value for money for schools, pupils and parents using the services. e. offer a service that is aligned to the vision, value and ethos of the Trust. f. be responsible for TUPE of existing staff.

Catering Services Contract for the Romsey Group of Primary Schools

School catering services contract for eight primary schools in Hampshire, who wish to opt out of the county wide catering outsourcing project currently underway. The eight schools who are within 15 minutes of Romsey, Hampshire, want to have greater control of specification, quality and pricing, and believe that acting within this informal alliance will enable their objectives to be more effectively achieved.
