Description

A Single Lot Contract to deliver and manage the NSSR Programme across a range of Themes, including Programme Management Office, Cyber Security, Standards and Characterisation, Canine Detection, Resilience and Behavioural Science.   
The Contract is expected to include 90 Requirements over a 4-year period with an estimated total value of £16m.
The supplier may be a single entity, consortium, or partnership with further information to be provided in the procurement documents.

Peatland Survey Contractor (CCaLL)

We are seeking Peatland Survey Contractors to provide costings for completion of surveys across peatland habitats within the CCaLL Catchment, located in the Calderdale and Kirklees area. The peatland area within the scope of the CCaLL project is in the region of 7.5k ha, we would be looking to survey around 3k ha of this land, with a focus on prioritised sites (final scope to be agreed). These habitats are not only important for wildlife in the area, and potential flood and wildfire defence, the peatland is also a major carbon store, the area includes predominantly blanket bog, wet and dry heath, mires, flushes, fringing clough woodlands and willow scrub. The moors support wildlife including Curlew, Dunlin, Golden Plover and Short Eared Owl, and include SSSI and SPA designated areas. As part of the long-term Landscape Recovery plan for this area, we require baseline survey information (primarily peat depth and vegetation) to inform potential interventions to the land and provide a basis for future monitoring. The surveys must meet the standards set by DEFRA and detailed in its Landscape Recovery Peatland Field Survey Protocol, which covers suitable methodologies for peatlands and other shallow peat habitats. We anticipate post-contract site visits to take place towards the end of July 2025, with the survey work to be carried out between 1st August 2025, to be completed by 30th November 2025 (factoring in shoot season on shot moors), with the sites specified for detailed surveys to be prioritised.

TfGM Travel Pass Assessments Provider 2025

TfGM is looking to establish a contract for a single Tenderer to provide Travel Pass assessments. The requirement of the Tenderer is to provide registered Occupational Health Therapists to assess members of the general public who have applied for a subsidised travel pass. The assessments will take place predominantly online and will involve the review and assessment of submitted applications. Tenderers must be willing and able to attend TfGM's main offices in Manchester to undertake in person assessments as and when this required. The contract will be for an initial two-year period, with an option to extend for a further one year if required (2+1). TfGM invites you to bid via this Open Tender procedure for the award of this contract, as advertised on the Central Digital Platform ("CDP"). NDNS biomonitoring for exposure to food additives

This research project aims to make progress towards a better understanding of actual UK consumer exposure to food additives. The aim is investigation of an approach for estimating exposure to food additives through measurement of biomarkers in biological samples taken as part of the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS). The FSA is currently working with a research partner to measure concentrations of biomarkers of food additives (specifically non-sugar sweeteners) in NDNS urine samples, using analytical chemistry techniques. Following completion of the analytical measurements, the FSA is seeking to commission further research to analyse and interpret the results, to make estimates of relative exposure to non-sugar sweeteners and to estimate dietary intake of the relevant non-sugar sweeteners from the urinary excretion of the corresponding biomarkers
