Description

The existing steel gates at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre in Stourbridge have sustained significant wear and corrosion due to heavy machinery and pedestrian activities, compromising their structural integrity. The gates, including steel partitions, shelves, and protection nets, are in need of replacement.
      The proposed work involves the removal of the corroded gates and steel components, repairs to the concrete foundations, and the installation of new steel gates and sections, ensuring they meet original design specifications. Additionally, new galvanized steel protection meshes and replacement steel shelves will be installed to enhance safety for the public and ensure the proper functioning of the gates.

Contractor Works Framework Agreement

The City of Edinburgh Council require a multi lot framework agreement to deliver repair, maintenance and upgrade capital and other works across its estate. The Council's Strategic Asset Management and Sustainable Development department require contractors to deliver the Capital Investment Programme and meet other construction needs for their commercial properties over the next four years.
