Description

This is a compact but intensive course targeted at Environment Agency Geoscience staff who need to understand groundwater chemistry within a short time as part of a Continuous Professional Development programme.
The main objectives are as follows:
•	To produce engaging and graphical training material that gives a fundamental understanding of groundwater chemistry in different geological environments and methods for investigating them.
•	To produce and deliver a training course in a blended learning format.

The material will highlight how an understanding of groundwater chemistry is critical to the evaluation of complex groundwater problems.

•	To introduce staff to current state of knowledge and methods for investigating emerging chemicals and plastics, including associated risks to the environment.
