Description
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) wishes to appoint an experienced Service Provider to take responsibility for undertaking and managing a range of agreed pre-employment checks and security screening on individuals intending to work for or at the MHRA; including providing web access to a secure online system to facilitate the service delivery, with both MHRA and candidate access. The Screening Service will include but not be limited to specific requirements for: deep web internet mining, adverse media checks, animal rights and pro-life activist checks, sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEP) checks; as well as Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Basic Disclosure (DBS) checks. The Contract shall run for an Initial Term of up to three years with the option to extend for a further one year period, all subject to satisfactory performance and earlier termination as required. There shall be no commitment to commission Services nor guarantee of a minimum or any volume or value of work; nor any exclusivity with the Service Provider in relation to these Services. The award value includes some contingency due to the variable nature of these Services.
