Description

Kendal College is seeking a transport service provision which will allow learners to travel from their homes to College and back, daily on College days. These are Monday to Friday during term time only (excluding bank holidays and staff development days).
Vehicles must comply with PSVAR requirements and have potential to carry ticket machines for fare paying passengers in the event that Westmorland and Furness Council are able to fund additional provision outside of term time and during the day.

November 25 & January 2026 Subsidised Tender Bus Services

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) supports the provision of an extensive passenger transport network across the West Midlands, both in fulfilment of statutory duties and to enable access to facilities and services.   Current Subsidised Bus Contracts expiring on 1st November 2025 and 3rd January 2026 need to be re-procured in order to ensure the routes contained within each contract remain operational. Schools transport - Perranporth to Penair School

Supply of school transport services for the 2025-26 academic year to transport 258 students from the Goonhavern/Perranporth area of Cornwall to Penair School (TR1 1TN). The service is required from 03/09/2025 until 17/07/2026 during term time only and will not be required on INSET days and bank holidays. The is the possibility of a contract extension until 16th July 2027. The service is paid for by the school, therefore fares are not required to be collected. Bus routes are already established however loading list by postcode will be provided so that the supplier can put forward proposed routes, bus stops, number of vehicles and loading lists. Consideration should be given to suitable vehicles for route conditions and access limitations (narrow lanes, bridges etc.) Pupils need to arrive at Penair by 08:20 and board buses at 15:00 each day (please note buses depart promptly at 15:10)
