For the past few years, CPC has outsourced the contract management of its Legal Services framework agreement for various reasons, one of which being capacity internally. We are now looking to bring this framework back in-house and this tender exercise will form the new iteration of the framework. Suppliers must be capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal advice and representation to institutions such as schools, academies, colleges, universities, and educational trusts, as well as local authorities and the wider public sector. Provision of Specialist Valuation and Contractual Advice

Orkney Islands Council as a statutory Planning Authority has the means to enter agreements with third parties under Section 75 of the Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 in order to restrict the use of land or regulate the use of land being developed where this is necessary to ensure that a development meets provisions associated with Planning decision. Such provisions may include financial provision through a bond or other means which the Planning Authority may call upon at a later date to ensure that remediation or other works which may be addressed in a planning condition are complete should the original developer no longer intend to discharge that condition. The Council wishes to commission specialist advisors to support a review of historic agreements; and to act as lead advisor to the Council in negotiating and framing future agreements where these are required.

SWE10562: Provision of Medical Assessment Services

As part of its statutory duty to investigate concerns about the fitness to practise of social workers, Social Work England may, where appropriate, require registrants to undergo a medical assessment, particularly in cases where concerns relate to a registrant's mental or physical health. As Social Work England does not possess the internal capacity to deliver these specialist services, it is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Service Provider to work in partnership to deliver a high-quality and robust Medical Assessment Service. The appointed provider will be responsible for conducting comprehensive medical assessments and producing clear, quantifiable, evidence-based reports that determine whether a registrant's mental and/or physical health may be impaired to the extent that it could affect their fitness to practise.
