Footpath Improvements to Route 6 Arran Trail

Description

This section of the project will cover the construction/upgrade of the public right of way through the Shadsworth Woodland Area between Arran Avenue, Dutton Way and School Lane, Blackburn.

And will encompass the following works:

• Footway improvement/construction and re-surfacing to form a shared cycle/pedestrian route
• Removal of existing metal footbridges
• Construction of piped culverts in locations where footbridges are removed
• Installation of ducting and chambers
• Installation of Street Lighting and associated equipment
• Liaison with stakeholders and the public
• Disposal of any materials removed as part of the works if they cannot be reused on site
