The Academy schools have historically procured their own suppliers to carry out the cleaning activities. Some Unity schools also utilise either a mix of contractor and inhouse staff or are fully staffed with their own cleaners. The ambition of Unity is to have all schools under one contract, but it will be left to the Heads of each school to determine what's best for them. The Heathland School is a Secondary School in Hounslow, Middlesex, which was founded in 1974. The school is an ‘Outstanding’ 11-18 Co-educational Community Comprehensive School committed to delivering exceptional academic success and providing an environment where individual learners thrive and become confident, independent and informed citizens of the future. The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the 1850 students on roll and 220 teaching and support staff, The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from 1st January 2026 to 31 December 2029 and will operate as a Fixed Price Contract, with the successful Contractor offering the School a guaranteed return / cost per annum for the provision of cleaning services. The School year is based on a calendar of 195 days. Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that School will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days. The contract offered covers the scope for the provision of all cleaning services within the school. Whilst the School prioritises value for money as a key objective of the Competitive Tender Process, the Governing body is not obliged to accept the lowest price. The value of the current contract is: - 2024/25 £239,637 The Heathland School expects the successful contractor to enable the continued development of cleaning services. The School expects the successful tenderer to evidence, through their bid, how they shall support and complement its values and support the principles of the school. Weald of Kent Grammar School ~ Cleaning Tender

Weald of Kent Grammar School is a large sized selective grammar school, with academy status for girls aged 11–18 and co-educational sixth form for students aged 16–18. The school operates across two campuses located in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, Kent and boasts state of the art facilities.
