Description

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council (the “Council”) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to deliver a contract for Lift Upgrades to West Kensington Estate, for which detailed requirements are due to be developed for publication when the procurement process goes live. At the time of this notice, the Council expects the main procurement category to be for Works and the likely procurement route to be via a Framework Call-Off. This notice is published in accordance with the requirements of the Procurement Act 2023 but must not be considered as confirmation that any future procurement opportunity will be forthcoming as a result, or in the way publicised herein. The details included in this notice remain subject to change as the Council's procurement strategy develops.

Small Works Framework

Nexus is intending to let a new Small Works Framework which will be a single supplier framework to support the Nexus Major Projects and Maintenance Delivery teams with the delivery of the capital programme and critical maintenance activities. The works will vary on a project-by-project basis but are generally expected to have significant elements of Civil engineering work such as construction, demolition, and structural repair works. Mechanical and electrical work, clearance of vegetation and maintenance/repair of boundary fences may also be required. Some projects may be of a design and build nature. Exacting requirements for each activity will be communicated by Nexus through call-off contracts. The estimated framework value is £15m (Excluding VAT) across the term of the Framework Agreement. Nexus cannot guarantee this estimated framework value; it is an estimate based on possible future pipeline projects. Call off contracts under the framework will be capped at £150k per call off but may be increased at Nexus's discretion.

Bellegrove Main Works Contractor

The Council is seeking a suitable Main Works Contractor to undertake the construction of the Bellegrove Housing Project, including demolition of 100 Mickleham Road and redevelopment of the site to provide new affordable and supported living dwellings together with associated car parking, cycle parking, landscaping and other associated works. The proposed development is for the delivery of a 100% affordable housing scheme, comprising 68 dwellings in two separate tenures: supported living and social rent. The supported living units will all be 1-bedroom units. All supported living units are designed using South East London Housing Partnership (SELHP) Guidelines and Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation (HAPPI) Standards and are proposed to be located across the ground floor with provision for an external communal private space.
